MaZi Intro to Ballet

Ballet is much like learning a language: it takes time, discipline and commitment. If you are not sure this is something you want to do, we have a class that will help you decide. Intro to Ballet with Dabble will show you what a great workout ballet can be, even if it is your first ballet class. After this class you can decide if you want to join MaZi Dance Fitness Centre for a 6 week intensive ballet program for beginners, no experience needed. This program is included for all MaZi Members and will be taught by Marisol & “Guest” teachers.
6 Week MaZi Program will be starting up again in the fall. Email us at mazidancefitness@gmail.com if you are interested
Gilt City Chicago

ATTENTION:
Your Class Card begins on the day you register/sign up for your first class since this action reserves your spot in class. If you register and do not cancel your reservation, your class will be deducted even if you missed the class (this applies to all class card holders). No exceptions. If you cannot make the class you registered for, kindly cancel at least 1 hour in advance to free up a spot for the waiting list. Thanks so much.
Q & A
Redemption details?
1. Go to online “Schedule” to find the class you would like to attend.
2. Email mazidancefitness@gmail.com with your voucher number, name, and class you would like to attend.
3. Bring in printed voucher to first class or Gilt City members can redeem vouchers via their mobile devices once at the studio.
Notes: Classes are open for reservation 7 days in advance. Uncanceled, unattended reservations will be deducted from voucher.
Classes/waiting lists are full?!
The first month following the promotion date is the busiest, so please check back in a couple of months and we will very likely have a spot in class available for the class of your choice.
Where is MaZI!?!?
We are on North right before you hit the intersections. If you turn the corner and see Starbucks, you went too far. We have a glass door next to City Soles, and our studio is on the 2nd floor.
Do you have parking?
We have lots of metered street parking available on Milwaukee, North & Damen. There is also some free parking available along Wicker Park (the actual park) streets. There is no dedicated parking lot.
Suggested materials?
Mat, towel, and water
What to wear?
Workout clothes & sneakers, we sell great clothes to workout in, however, we do not have shoes.
I can’t come to all 5 classes; can other people use my voucher?
A voucher is good for only one person.
I’m going out of town can the classes be suspended?
All classes must be started and completed after 3 months of first class used, no exceptions.
What are the class restrictions on my voucher?
You may only take one class per day and classes taught by Fabrice Calmels are not included. (The times for this are Sunday at 10:30 AM) Otherwise, all classes are available for sign-up.
Is preregistration for classes required?
Yes, preregistration for classes is required for a guaranteed spot in class. Without a reservation, you may still drop-in but could potentially not obtain a space in class since there is also a wait list that will have priority over walk-ins.
Are there age restrictions associated with this Deal?
You must be at least 14 years of age to take an Adult Class.
Can I use this Deal with any other current offers?
No, this is a stand-alone deal.
We hope this Q&A helps you get started, if not, please email us at MaZiDanceFitnessGroupon@gmail.com or give us a call (773)278-9600.
See you soon!

Featured Artist: Laura Junge
Junge has exhibited across the United States, often winning awards and gleaning accolades for her unique interpretative work. She is currently the proprietor and “in house” artist at the Jackson Junge Gallery. Despite the time constraints of the gallery, Junge maintains a heavy schedule of competitively juried art fairs across the country. An innate belief that art needs to be available to everyone is another underlying current of Junge’s convictions. The intimacy of an art fair permits the kind of exchange between artist and potential collector that is so often overlooked in today’s art scene.
Future Artist: Dancescapes
by Narinder Dogra
www.dancescape.net
With the unique art form of the Dancescape, Narinder Dogra brings to our awareness the ongoing dance of the land – the primal, eternal motion present in drifting continents, in sliding glaciers, in shifting dunes. Against a backdrop of desert sands or eroding rock formations, his film records the brief moment of a dancer’s whirling step. Rhythm and flow resonate both in the choreographic lines of the ballerina and in the earth’s layers of sedimentary deposits.
The United Nations has exhibited Narinder Dogra’s work in Rio de Janeiro, New York, Paris, and Atlanta in a juried show called “Focus on Environment.” Numerous art galleries have exhibited his work in the United States. Samples of his work will be at MaZi for a limited time, come by, don’t miss it!
